    What length was the cable you made up? The cynic in me would be pleased at this device working beyond 40m or so You added standard RJ45 connectors - are they shielded, is there a shield connection between the two connectors on a multimeter? What resolution are you sending - I'm guessing 1080, does it work at 720?
