Mounting screens / laptops / tablets at mix position

What clever devices do you use to mount computer screens, tablets, laptops etc at your mix position? I'm looking really for portable (touring type) ideas rather than those that have to be screwed down.

I've seen various office type solutions around which may or may not be useful. What have you found that works?

For vision mixers we have some half depth flexrax from amptown which are nice. Mostly for the protection, as they are 19" but they do make a fold out screen case for various sizes I think designed to take vesa10.

At home like Alister, I have a tablet mount thats on a g-clamp, the arm is long I think 1m and really stiff so there is very little movement when being used.

At work I got a few g-clamp laptop stands for bench work which work great also, I have seen some which are designed to take a vesa10 + laptop combo

A cheap flexible arm tablet mount has also served me well in the past - it's quite a flexible arm so I don't think it would do well with a big screen or heavy tablet. I actually have used it often as a paper script mount - grab a cheap folder and cut holes into the back of it so that the arms on the mount can 'grab' onto it in the same way they do a tablet and it makes a really nice script holder that can fly over the mixer - I hate covering up part of the mixer with scripts.

Otherwise for screens there's a number of decent VESA mount poles that can clamp onto a table. I have this one from Amazon that's been secure.

KnM stands have a huge range, or Manfrotto's Magic arms/clamps are great with a huge range of adaptors, and on amazon there's plenty of magic arm alikes to try, I have a heavy duty tablet clamp for a Microsoft surface that I use for my sons eye gaze and that's solid and portable.
