Schnick-Schnack-Systems LED backlighting systems are becoming increasingly popular among lighting, set and other designers, working in all disciplines. As a result, there has been a growth in demand for competent technicians, who are familiar with the various system configurations offered by the company's product range.
The UK Office runs one day training sessions on the third Thursday of each month, with December's session set to take place on the 18th of the month.
Training is free of charge and delivered at our air-conditioned office in Orpington, Kent – close to the A21 and Junction 4 of the M25; or a short bus ride and walk from Orpington or Bromley South train stations.
The training is conducted at a relaxed pace, with ample opportunity to ask questions, play with the kit and gain hands-on experience. The day is concluded by a multiple choice test, with those who score over 70% receiving a certificate of completion; all others receive a certificate of attendance.
Training is open to anybody working full time in the industry, or studying on an industry-related course, who has a good working knowledge of DMX-controlled lighting systems. A basic knowledge of ArtNet is an advantage, but by no means essential.
Places are limited and early booking is advised. Please contact me (a.k.a. lightnix) via PM, or e-mail me at nick(dot)cooke(at)schnickschnacksystems(dot)com, to reserve your place.
Custom dates can be arranged, with two weeks' notice, for groups of three or more people.
