The Compulite Vector is the first Lighting Workstation that lets you work the way YOU want to work!

Vector is designed around a unique multi-processor architecture. One processor utilises the familiar Windows XP environment to provide a friendly, easy to use interface. This guarantees that the system can be upgraded in the future to accommodate new technologies and ensures operators will immediately have an intuitive sense of console navigation.

The second processor handles all the real time processing between the panel and the outputs. It runs on the robust VX-Works platform to ensure the optimum in speedand stability - providing blazing performance and response, while seamlessly operating in the background.

Not familiar with Compulite systems? This is no longer important, Vector can be configured to work the way you are familiar with. Triple mode functionality enables the console to work in Tracking (Move Fade) Mode, Standard Compulite (Crossfade) Mode or Q Only Mode. Dual syntax mode provides the option of typing using Enhanced Compulite syntax or the American Enter (Palette) syntax.

Selecting the colour or gobo you require is no longer a problem. Vector incorporates advanced interactive colour pickers for all moving light sttributes, simply selecting the colour wheel will bring up a dialogue window displaying all the colours or gobos, with bitmap icons of each, simply press the button to select the one you want. If the fixture supports colour mixing, just call up a spectrum and move your finger around the screen until you have the required colour.

Vector submasters and crossfade playback faders are motorised, providing a total of 400 physical and virtual playback devices. Any fader can be configured for level, rate, split crossfade or inhibitive. Faders can be grouped to provide a 'super playback' giving the operator absolute control over all playback parameters. The Master playback section may be assigned to any playback device and incorporates an LCD display.

With 4096 on board DMX channels and a further 4096 over Ethernet, integral DVD plater/CD Re-Writer, integral sound system, 5 multi-bank wheels plus large dimmer wheel and backlit trackball plus the capability to run on board CAD software the Vector leads the industry as being the most advanced, yet user friendly console on the market.

The Vector iControl remote utilises a standard PDA with built in wireless ethernet to communicate with the Vector console to provide a wireless riggers control with full editing features.

Wings

A range of wings are available including a playback wing (pictured), editor wing and channel controller wing. These work with any Vector system or with the Offline software. The playback wing adds 10 playback faders and 10 Q keys, it is available in two versions with either motorised or non-motorised faders.

Offline Editor

Also available is a free PC application to provide remote panels for the Vector, called Vector PC, it is available from the Compulite website.
