Technical Specifications

Rubix

The main nightclub is an approximately 1500 capacity venue with three bars.

Load-In: This is via a loading dock (ramps available from in-house crew) through a (nearly) double firedoor, all on the level to the main stage. Aside from this, most of the venue is on different levels with stairs and/or disabled lifts between them. Most importantly from the technical side, the FOH mixing position is on a balcony facing the stage.

Stage: The stage is about 25 feet wide and 25 feet deep. There is a black backdrop (attached to a rolling truss allowing the stage to be resized) and blacks along the two side walls. In addition to the backdrop truss, there are two other rolling trusses.

Dancefloor: The dancefloor is L-shaped with an installation lighting rig (tri-lite trussing, Martin FX, Pulsar Pinspots, Clay Paky Miniscan-HPE) controlled from a Pulsar Masterpiece. There are additional other trusses to provide front-lighting for the stage.

Power: On Stage there is a 63A Single Phase supply on ceeform. At the back of stage are 3x63A Three Phase ceeform, 1x32A 3 phase and a couple of 16A single phase. Various cabling and distros are available from the in-house crew. There is an installed 16A link from stage to FOH for sound purposes, and additional 16A single phase outlets around the FOH position.

HRB

The HRB, or Helyn Rose Bar, is an approximately 300 capacity venue downstairs from Rubix. It features an installed club lighting and sound (Turbosound/JBL) rig, and a fully kitted out DJ booth.

Load In: Load in is either through Rubix and down some stairs, or via one of two double fire exits. One exit is adjacent to the road but down some steps, the other one is accessible via slopes but involves circumnavigating the building.

Power: In the DJ booth there is a 63A Single Phase ceeform. There are a couple of 13A outlets on the dancefloor.
