A Syndicat des Constructeurs d'Appareils Radiorécepteurs et Téléviseurs connector, also sometimes known as the peritelivision or peritel, or more commonly the SCART connector is designed for the consumer market as a convenient audio/video connection. It combines audio in and out with both composite video and (RGB) component video in/out connections, together with certain control signals.
