The Sherman Theatre in Cardiff is a 350 seat venue. Generally it recieves productions, although the Sherman Theatre Company do produce one or two productions a year in the main house.

The theatre also has a second venue (formerly the Sherman Arena, now Sherman Venue 2) which plays host to smaller scale studio pieces.

The building was originally built as part of Cardiff University but is now an independant theatre company. The Venue also regularly plays host to productions from RWCMD, including the annual Musical and Opera productions.

Flying

The venue has 42 fly lines, although certain lines aren't available for various reasons. This causes problems with lighting & masking.
