Lighting Desk Data Table

The Jester is one of the latest small desks from Zero88, coming in two varieties - the 12/24 and the 24/48. Both desks feature a full memory stack playback and submaster support. All data is output via DMX. Show storage is via USB and the desks also support MIDI in/out and DMX-IN. VGA Text monitor support and a multi-lingual online help system make it ideal for schools. Memories and Submasters can be programmed as chases if required, with individual control over chase drive and direction. Audio input and Remote go triggers can be used for the memory stack and chases. Auxiliary control of smoke machines and scrollers is also provided. A full DMX patch is possible to any of the 512 channels in the single universe.

Operation

The desk operates in three main modes -

• Preset - Yellow: Manual fader control, in either two preset (normal operation) or single preset (wide mode).
• Program - Red: For programming memories and submasters. All faders recall Desk Channels.
• Run - Green: Replay mode. Bottom bank of faders are submasters, top bank are channels.

Online Help can be accessed at any time by pressing SHIFT+LEFT+RIGHT.

Phantom Jester

All of the Jester and JesterML desks can be emulated on a Windows based PC with the use of the Phantom Jester offline editor. This is available on the Zero88 website.
