A range of consoles by German manufacturer MA Lighting, the grandMA comes in four variants.

grandMA Full-size

Designed to be a compact version of the full-size grandMA, the Light version offers the following featureset:

The Ultralight edition of the grandMA console is designed as a reduced version of the grandMA Light, and features include:

The relatively recent Micro console is the smallest in the range. It features:

grandMA remote

The GrandMA remote allowed a network of grandMA consoles to be controlled remotely. Its features include:

  • Convenient remote control for all important functions of the grandMA range
  • Bidirectional communication via wireless LAN EtherNet
  • High distances and safe use with all grandMA consoles
  • Up to 6 remote control units can be used with each console or station
  • Delivered as complete package including pocket PC and wireless
  • LAN access point

grandMA video

The GrandMA video software is a media server that can be controlled by, and integrates fully with, the grandMA range. It features:

  • A software solution for controlling, live-accessing and altering video, still images and 3D-objects – in real-time – exclusively via any grandMA console
  • Six layers with full effects capabilities for high-resolution projections (up to 2.048 x 2.048 Pixel) plus one layer for keystoning and a masterlayer for beam shapers
  • Straightforward set-up and configuration that utilizes bi-directional communication with any grandMA console – says the PC hardware can be placed on stage or directly at the projector; grandMA video is an integrated part of the grandMA network session
  • Instant live-access from the grandMA console to any kind of image, 3D-object or video – including content browsing, movie clip preview, multi-preview screen and thumbnail views in your presets
  • 4x Video In; Soft-Edge; Keystoning (8 Parameters) with X/Y perspective correction

grandMA 3D

GrandMA 3D is MA Lighting's visualisation software. It can network with the grandMA range to produce live visualising controlled by the console. Features include:

  • Realtime-3D visualization of all important functions and effects of luminaires and moving lights
  • Takeover of complete shows of the grandMA via EtherNet
  • Bi-directional adjustment of data banks with the grandMA or grandMA offline editor/onPC
  • Follow mode for Live-positioning of moving lights on grandMA consoles or offline editor/onPC
  • Comfortable graphic editor
  • Import of common CAD files, eg. *.dxf, *.3ds
  • Extensive object libraries that are completed and always up-to-date via internet
  • Storage of complete shows in the very common video formats to be able to send them via e-mail
  • Complete programming of a show with grandMA onPC and grandMA 3D with only one console

grandMA onPC

The GrandMA onPC software the offline editor software for the GrandMA range. However, with an NSP, the onPC software can easily be used as a show control option. The software can be networked with grandMA 3D on the same PC or another, or it can be networked with the Fullsize to Ultralight consoles, perhaps as a backup console. It features:

  • Supports all functions of the grandMA on graphical PC display
  • Optimised presentation and surface for using all grandMA function on your PC
  • Ideal possibility to use it as grandMA live show controller or backup system in connection with the network signal processor
