A point in a show's script where something happens, but frequently used to describe a stored lighting state (memory) on a Lighting Desk. This can either be a static scene, a multi-part scene, or a chase. Implementations differ between consoles.
A list of cues is known as a playback stack, or a cue list. Usually fade and dwell (wait) times can be programmed so that the show can be replayed simply by pressing the Go button at the appropriate time. Some desks allow MIDI, MIDI Timecode or SMPTE Timecode to drive the playback stack.
