CSMD (Computerised Sound Mixing Desk) is a piece of commercial software, for the Windows platform, developed by WJPS.
There are two versions of the software available, the Standard and Advanced version.
Both the Standard and Advanced version are primarily designed to replace 2 CD Decks, or a CD and MD Deck and a mixer. The software allows sources (i.e. Mp3, Wav, WMA) to be mixed together and the output can be played through the PC's soundcard or recorded to Wav file.
The Advanced version gives users more control over the playout of files, including, the ability to preset the start and end of a track, and multiple fades in an outs.
CSMD may be suitable for use in Amdram or School Productions, or for anyone who wants to use their PC as a mini-studio.
A Beta version of the latest software release has been published on the CSMD website. It can be found at http://www.csmd.co.uk?PID=25.
Enquiries are welcomed, and a (time limited) free demo of both versions is available from:
