Overview

Purpose built in 1970 by the Inner London Education Authority, the Cockpit Thatre is now owned and funded by the City of Westminster College. The Cockpit is used as a training venue by day by the college's sound, lighting, dance and drama courses, and operates as a receiving house the rest of the time.

Projection

We own a Hitachi CP-X958 LCD Projector which is excellent for screening videos, computer graphics and other visual media. The projector is not included in the hire, but can be used by special arrangement.

N.B. Using the projector usually requires a vision mixer to facilitate neat cueing. We don’t own one!

We have an additional sound system, which is available for hire. Please ask when booking.
