Adjustable masking doors attached to the front of any lantern to roughly shape the light beam. Commonly seen on fresnel and plano-convex lanterns but also on parcans. Adjustment is limited to bringing in a soft straight edge on each of 4 sides allowing the creation of rough rectangular masks. The whole assembly can usually be rotated around the light axis.
