Hi..

I'm looking for some suggestions/recommendations for radio mic hire. I need 3 additional headset or body-worn units (tx + rx) for a few days in december. Already using several VHF frequencies, so it would need to be UHF or specific VHF channels.

My usual supplier is unable to help, and most of the other companies that I deal with specialise in the conference market, with suitably shiny equipment and high-end prices This one's for a school event, so no huge budgets.

Any suggestions for suppliers, either local (glasgow/west of scotland) or via post, would be welcome.

I'd be happy to help you with a rack of four RXs, bodypacks and lavs, and could try to do it for a rate that would fit your schol's budget. Freight is the problem though, from Bournemouth to Scotland and back. Email me off-list or PM if you have a good courier. The flightcase is about 10-15kg I guess.

It's JTS 9000 series. Not touring-class kit but I find it excellent. Am using it for a school job at the moment together with 6 Samsons and 4 Shures. All works happily together.

If they havn't got what you want then try Northern Light over in Edinbourgh.

Second for Northern light, They should be able to get you Trantec S4000's or Sennheiser G2 100's or G2 300's for a reasonable price.

We're based through in Edinburgh and hold stock of the Sennhesier Evolution range of mics. All UHF and running on licensed frequencies (license is transferred to you for the hire period).
