Anyone got any recommendations for where I can buy a tieclip for an Audio Technica MT838 mic (Part code MT838TC), without paying a fortune in shipping? Google turned up a few places selling the tieclip for about 9 quid, but the only site offering online ordering wanted 11.75 shipping!

If I remember correctly, Canford do a range of these.

Also, CPC have a number of "budget" tieclip mics for less than 4 pounds - depending on the design of the AT mic, it may be possible and cost-effective to cannibalise the clip from one of these. There's a reasonable photo (part mp33203) in the paper catalogue.

Failing that, you can make a surprisingly good substitute using one of those clip things that are used for conference delegates badges (or even a crocodile clip!), a very small cable tie and a black permanent marker...
