hi guys
I have recently bought a soundcraft spirit folio, and am baffled blink.gif. On the two phono channels I can only contol there separate sound from a small nob at the very top of each channel. I want to control them from the channels fader (which as the blue fader cover). yet the whole channel dose not seem to work from the volume knob at the top down. is there some button I can push to make the rest of the controls work on the channel.

thanks

If this is the Folio SX, then the phono channels are controlled by the pot at the top, and the jack channels are controlled by the fader, and have gain controls, eq and aux sends.

This gives you 4 stereo channels.

Hope that makes sense.

There are many different kinds of Folio - which model do you have?
Pete Alcock
Rich,

The two inputs presented as phono sockets, are a couple of very basic stereo inputs that can be used for things that don't require eq or to be sent to an aux. For example, things like a CD player for interval music or an extra echo return if you're desperate for inputs.

They have a single level knob that routes directly to the main A/B bus (or sub bus in the case of the SX).

If you want to use the full facilities of the stereo (blue knob) channels, you have to plug the stereo source in to the two jack inputs on those channels.

Trust this helps. A block diagram can be downloaded from Soundcraft's website, if you no longer have the manual.

Pete.

glad I read the whole thread, as Mr Alcock's written exactly what I was going to say and hit the nail on the head....
