Hi all

I have been through pages and pages of thomann trying to find clamps for condensers that I can clamp to drumkit to pick up symbals. Its really to cut down on space as some of the venues I work in are tight for space. Does anyone use these kind of things-seen them used lots at glasto over the weekend.

also looking for a clamp that I can clamp to an amp-anyone please???

thanks

The E604 comes with a little clamp to attach it to the side of a drum kit; other than that I've had a few imitations of it (Yoga brand etc) that have also come with similar clamps.

You might be able to order the clamp alone as a spare part, as it has a standard mic thread on so you should be able to attach a clip to it.

Hi

I've got 3 of these... http://www.dv247.com/invt/27065/ and they seem to work quite well, I mainly use them to clip condensers onto Toms or Snares.

Not bad for the price really.

Hope that helps.

http://www.manfrotto.com/Jahia/site/manfro...d=53&idx=53 You can put a stud in the Super Clamp that has a stand thread on the end for mounting a mic clip, etc.

I got 3 of these:

They work OK and are cheap but they do crack quite quickly if you bend them too much.

A vote for the K&M offerings. you can't really go well.

Have a look through the catalogue. Thomann do do alot of the K&M range but they can be tricky to find sometimes without a model number, if they're not in the catalogue, they will get them for you. But they're available from most places, there's lots of types. Andy's link is ideal.

Latin Percussion Drum Claws may be what you need...

The Latin are certainly robust, but are rather clumsy. I'd go for the Gibraltar, as they are a bit more elegant.

For amps maybe have a look at these? http://www.thomann.de/gb/alien_apparatus_a...phone_stand.htm

The up-coming Heil drum clamp looks interesting: http://srforums.prosoundweb.com/index.php/fa/21332/0/255/
