I wonder if anyone can help. I recently bought a couple of Tannoy VS10 600W subs at auction for £150. I like a bit of reggae and occasional pounding techno and I wanted some bass for a (fairly large) room in my house, so I bought them. I have also acquired a TX1 bass controller, although I believe I would need another to run both subs. Now I need some speakers to go with this setup.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I was going to get Tannoy V8s, or V12s as they are what Tannoy themselves suggest to go with the VS10. I would need an amp to run the rig too.

Is this hopelessly ridiculous for my house? Should I ditch the VS10s and start again? Will it sound ###### at low volumes? Will my two small kids go deaf?
