Full Version: What cleaner

Hi All,
I am cleaning up some of my kit where the faders and knobs have developed a bit of crackle. Contact cleaner seems to be good for switches etc, but on faders on eq and desk although it cleans the contact, the faders loose their smoothness. What do you use to clean them and retain that silky smooth feel?

Cheers.

Electrolube have a range of products for this, particularly a dedicated switch cleaner and lubricant combined. Should at least re-lubricate afterwards, though your faders may well have an electrical grease in there as well, which may well get washed out by switch cleaner.
