Has anyone had any experience good or bad running radio mic receivers the EW100 series or g2 Radio mic Receiver off a portable battery pack.

Need to use a radio mic system with a camera for a couple of gigs , , , need to make my receiver portable , ie in a bum bag or ruck sack .

The back of mine says 10.5 - 16V, 300mA, DC. I can't see it being a problem running off a battery.
I also have the portable receiver though, so use that when I'm filming instead!

We run these from a battery regularly. This was in one of our Easyport portable PA's which has a 12v sealed lead-acid pack inside.

However, you do know that you can get this - Sennheiser eW135 P G2?

He did say he's already got mains receivers - so although here are battery ones, that's not the point (I think?).

I run them off NP1 video batteries - they seem quite happy. I use an NP1 holder with 4 pin XLR output (usd to run monitors or other video kit) - just a short XLR to senn type plug works fine. These biggish batteries last a fair time too.
