Hi
has anyone any experience of ev sxa 360 powered speakers?
I'm probably going to get a pair of these to use as stage monitors and back up mains (in case of emergencies)
as I've seen some available on a good deal.
I imagine they're pretty good but just thought I'd ask people's thoughts
thanks for any replies

there's a lot of talk about the SXA 360s and their passive brother the sx 300 in at least 3 different recent threads about what speaker to buy. They're a quality box, better than mackie srm450 and not quite as good as D&B, meyer, KV2 etc. Same league as martin blackline and turbosound txp/d series.

However they need those annoying feet to work as monitors, so that for me would rule them out for mons use unless I already had some.

thanks for the reply Matt.
I've been thinking long and hard about what monitors to get for a few months and was very close to getting a dynacord am12 and a passive one to match.

I've been toying with the idea of getting something that could act as a back up for FOH should my EAW's fail or one of my amps.

Thing is I've come across a pair of ex demo Ev sxa360's for £700 and to me it seems a deal too good to let go.

Hi,

I'm also on the lookout for some SXA360's at the moment, so if anyone knows of a good deal then please PM me!

Thanks
