Hi,

with the greatest of respect, if you are asking this question, you perhaps ought to think about letting someone else change the crossover an select the right type. There are hundreds of different crossover designs, each work slightly different. This excludes the varying frequency.

There are 3 elements to your system, the bass the mid and the top, I will assume that 1 amp channel runs each side of the system consisting of 2 boxes. There is a passive crossover in the bass cab, there is also a passive crossover between the 12 and the horn.

We can't possibly tell you what frequency is best without knowing what the cabinets are, however we can tell you that the 500Hz one is not suitable for either of those crossover points.

If it's the crossover between the bass and the top cab, then neither of those you mentioned are suitable. You would need one that crosses over between 100 and 150Hz. You'll likely find these are more expensive but there isn't really a way around this.

Tell us more about your system.
