I have a gig in a very small venue in august, just wondering if I could stack my amp-rack (4U) on top of my muticore (drum mounted). would this affect anything?

No but if the venue is that small why take the multicore? Just got in from a gig which was supposed to be outside on a big trailer but due to the usual wimbledon sunshine forced inside into a very small space, anything that could be left in the truck was, this included my sense of humour!

Yeah but the venue is small, but I still locate myself at the back

Never had a problem before, I've seen much worse stacking and kit placement and the overall sound, sounded as good as the engineer
