we have a aluminium lecture http://modernoffice.stores.yahoo.net/sialcutrle.html close enough to this

I have borrowed a goose neck mic for a wedding next week but the clamp for it has not been put back in the box ( know where it has gone but not sure the company will find it in time)

spent the afternoon looking for a new clamp/clip.

any idea where I can find the right one would be great.

thanks

Will something like this suffice??

would do the trick

Would it be worth drilling and threaring a hole to take one of these? It would take a bit of effort and cost, but would look so much nicer in the long run. I've just done this with several Unicol tops; I can now attach my 747s to any of our lecterns without clamps.

could do we own the lecturn but not the mic, we the speaker uses a clip on.

I am using it for a wedding to pic up bride and groom.

I have asked the person I have borrowed it from it try and chase the clip from the sound company that it was used with last to see if he can find it or find a replacment. but he is away working so might not get back to me.

Good suggestions here but just to let you know, you should rubber mount the stand otherwise you will get lots of nasty bassy bumps & bangs each time anything is moved on the lectern!!
