Hi guys hope you all are well,

At a local theatre the program "Sound Cue System" is used to trigger sound cues from the lighting desk via MIDI. Before this program a program was used called "Catalog". (Or at least, upon asking someone this is what they believe it was called as I couldn't remember). It allowed you to set up the sounds in a list and then you would click the appropriate button to fire the sound cue.

Does this software ring any bells with anyone? I am trying to find out if it still exists or not and a google did not show anything helpful!

Unfortauntely I don't know who makes the software - this is part of the problem!

Thanks

I can't help with the 'Catalog' software,
but there has been a few a few discussions on free sound FX software,
I'm sure doing a search will find something.

In fact, I've just been looking at the wiki, found a few most common ones.

Sound plant is a nice free one,
But it is not in the list as you would like.

hope something out of this helped biggrin.gif

Thanks for the link - I shall check out sound plant, but like you say it may very well not do the job.

I don't know if "Catalog" was freeware or payware actually!
