I'm looking for a set of three airport style bench seats. I'm from Australia and I keep hitting dead ends with suppliers. If anyone knows of anyone who does them, preferably who could do a double and one as a single that would be fantastic. Currenly everyone I can find is a european designer, not good for budget or supply.

Do you need brand new? If not try some of the bigger airlines in Australia - if they are anything like the UK ones they have plenty of spare seats lying around, used for crew training purposes in the classroom or ready to quickly swap with seats on airlines that are damaged etc.
They even have crates of first class seats in hangers for when a top VIP hires the whole plane for a trip and then every economy & business class seat is taken out and the whole plane converted into First Class.

Just re-read the original post - and Miles asked for airPORT benches not airLINE. I was thinking of plane seats not the waiting benches at the airport.
Miles - have you tried contacting your nearest airport and asking them for the names of their suppliers, or just looking for suppliers of office furniture (maybe it comes under reception area furniture?)

Google for: airport concourse furniture australia
gives, among others
www.cfiaa.com.au/downloads/CFIAA%20Newsletter%20November%202005.pdf -
But I expect there are some seats in a store that would do for your task www.ansett.com.au/about/hotline_m.htm indicates that several airports are in transition. Perhaps one near you has something available.

Since Ansett has been gone for a few years, and all of their stock is gone by now. You should approach furniture manufacturers such as Sebel for help.
That Ansett page should have been gone long ago
Shame you're in Australia! My day job in the UK is as an avionics engineer at a local airport. We have a skip with about 5 sets of them in it, some have ripped seats but I reckon you could get at least one good row out of them.
I'll check with our facilities manager and see where we get ours tomorrow

As most people have said, check with local airports.
I don't know how it works in Australia, but definately around my area the town council has a lot of benches that are similar to airport concourse seating. Maybe give that a go.
Other than that, any 'industrial' furniture supplier should manufacture something in a similar style.
Is it vital that they are authentic? It might not be too difficult to make your own mock ups?

Missed this earlier, the trade term is Beam seating, any good office seating manufacturer will have a range available, the importers cannot flat pack them from China so won't list them as existing.

I spent an age trying to find this exact sort of seating.
Good company to try is Inter County office furniture, they do bench seating like the sort you are looking for.
