Hi Guys,

Im looking to gather as many pictures of musical theatre sound system installations as I can, in preparation for my dissertation.

These pictures could be anything relevant really, but particularly- mix position, outboard racks, radio racks, amp racks, mic pack storage, multicore runs, speaker hangs, subs, underbalcs, centre clusters....the list goes on.

PS- if anyone is opping etc on a west end show and would be willing to show me around for picture taking purposes, that'd be marvellous! :-)

These are obvious suggestions but have you tried getting in touch with press departments at sound hire shops?

Or contacting some of the trade rags?

If the photo on my profile page (simple setup with a few RU of RF receivers, DM1000 and computer for playback...and me alas) is any use to you, I can send you a better copy.

Otherwise, I agree with the suggestion of contacting the PR departments at some of the bigger hardware and productions companies. MarkCadac is an occasional poster here and a very helpful soul (though likely PLASA-busy right now) and might make a good start.
