Does anyone know if the G1 and G2 systems can interchange transmitters and receivers. e.g. Can one use a G2 transmitter with a G1 receiver?
Secondly, does anyone know where I can get one only of the SK500 G1 beltpack transmitters - secondhand is ok if excellent working condition.

I believe the answer is yes, providing you switch off the tone squelch on the G2 model, the as the G1 doesntuse tone squelch.
Yup, we've done this plenty of times. Just the note about the pilot tone as per DBuckley's reply above.
In terms of sourcing a 500 series G1 TX, your only chance is secondhand. We have some secondhand 100 Series G1 systems but this is probably not of much use to you.

No but thank you. I really wanted to source a secondhand SK500 G1 as the receivers that I have are all 500s. It is just that I only have the transmitter which connects to a standard microphone but would like a beltpack.
