Edirol UA-25 Windows 10

Hi,

I have recently upgraded my laptop to windows 10 thinking that it looked quite good and so far all my software seems to work ok. I am at a bit of a stumbling block at the moment. When I connect my Edirol UA-25 to my laptop it cannot find a driver when in advanced mode. If I change the switch it only allows me to output sound which works fine but I need to be able to record into my laptop using the device as well. Does anyone know of a driver or way that I can make it function as if it were running on windows 7?

Thanks

When in non-advance mode the unit is what is called 'class' compliant and uses a driver built in to Windows. In Advance mode it uses a proprietary driver. Given the product in question is discontinued it's not clear that Roland will produce a Windows 10 driver for it.

Your current options are:

- Downgrade back to Windows 7

- Replace Audio Interface with one where the manufacturer claims Windows 10 support

- Wait to see if Roland eventually provide drivers.
