It is ex-PRG. I bought it with some specific events in mind which alas were cancelled when funding was withdrawn.
This is a seriously bright light, can be visible for many miles. If using outdoors, it is recommended you notify the CAA to avoid endangering aircraft. I was intending using it indoors at large dance parties, as a good way of getting a powerful colour changing beam out into the crowd.
It takes a 32amp 3 phase supply, and there is a flightcased ballast which runs the spot itself. DMX in and out on 5 pin XLR. There is 16 bit pan and tilt, so you get nice smooth movement, and the shutter, zoom, and scroller are all controlled via DMX.
Everything works. The lamp strikes without any issues, pan and tilt movement is smooth and quiet. The shutter and zoom work fine and the colour scroller is in full working order with a good looking set of colours which are in good nick with no obvious fading or burn through.
The spot comes with a full flightcase. Some catches and handles could do with a bit of TLC but you could send it straight out on a gig if you had to.
