I've sent a couple of these out already, so I've zipped all the jands hog stuff I have and put it here.

Thank you soooo much Paul.

Just wondering whats the folder called that would have the Hog 250 software in it?

and which folder has the Fixture disk part? As I want to be sure that im putting the right bits together so this works with the least amount of stress.

I allready found the folder with all the pre made fixture profiles.

So thanks again!

If the LED Panels don't work hit them with a hammer or alternatively hit them with a sledge hammer until they work! YAY now I got LED PAR 64's instead that acctually work!

navigate to jands 600 (I've got the big brother)

Inside you'll find the fixture libs - lots of versions, and then a folder called orginal discs, These are copies of the floppies that came with it. software v2-3c-34 is the folder you need. The .bin file is the software. if this is on the floppy and you need to ever load the software again, use it. If all is well now, don't.

lots of those other folders, if copied onto a floppy are just old show discs - which you could load to play with. They're not exciting!

Ok I found the software easilly enough and will copy it to floppy once I get my drive.....

But I had a look at the all the different versions of the Fixture lib's Do all of these have the necessary starting information? As I know how to create the individual fixtures, but I know there is a bit of 'code' at the start that tells the console something.

Thanks Ash

Ok well I finally managed to get a hold of a floppy drive and started tinkering with the fixtures profiles.

One thing that is bugging me is that I created a Fixture profile for one of my ADJ X Scan LED's and everything seems to be all over the place. E.g. what the console thinks is the Gobo parameter is actually controlling the dimmer, and the colour is controlling shutter.

But one thing I did realize when I was creating the profile is that I do have a Manufacturer number for ADJ but I dont have a Product Number for the X Scan LED. Maybe this is the source of my problems? As I entered a 0 instead which after looking through the list is the product number for a totally different ADJ product.

I am going to try again with a Martin MX-4 for which I have both a Manufacturer Number and a product number. So far ive been typing the profiles out by hand, using the fixture generator as the source for the manufacture numbers and fixture numbers. Basically I couldn't figure out how to work it.

And if that doesn't work im going to pull out the RoboScan 518's and 218's and use the original fixture profiles for them that came with the desk.

And Paul I found what I had to copy to disk. Jeez you have alot of stuff there!
