Hey everyone,

I'm having a dense moment and can't find a video I'm looking for. I'm fairly sure that its been linked to from the BR before but can't find it on the search so....

Anyone know who the DJ was who had the set built out of scaffolding, It was projected onto to make it look like the cubes were moving, changing etc (projection mapping type thing). I think he was French if that helps

any help would be much appreciated

thanks

daft punk have done some cool projection stuff but its not the one I'm thinking of.

The guy Dj's under his own name rather than a band name as such. The Scaffolding was essentially a large square seperated into 9 smaller squares and he was dj'ing from the centre square. If I remember rightly, It was from a one off live show (possibly a festival type thing)

any more ideas anyone????

Good luck, he came through our venue a few months ago and the projection (while very very impressive) is very difficult to get looking perfect and it's not the sort of thing you can throw together over the weekend... It does look awesome once it's set up working properly though!

Armin Van Buren had something similar in God's Kitchen at Global Gathering UK this year.

The godskitchen "boom box" was done by Exyzt, the same people who did the De Crecy show.
http://videomapping.tumblr.com/ has loads more examples of mapping by different people all over the world.
