Before the Code of Practice was published how did you use the tallescope?

Ok, we don't know if the Tallescope was being moved or whether the outriggers were correctly deployed etc.

This suggests to me that the upper half of the ladder section dropped vertically, which in turn indicates that maybe the safety catches hadn't taken properly when the scope was extended...
Which sounds very much like a very different type of incident, and one that doesn't really fall into the type of which we're discussing.
I'll watch eagerly for the outcome of Bryson's investigations...
