Reporting to the Production Director, and working across various departments, the draughtsperson will be responsible for providing technical drawing support for our festivals and events. Job Purpose This role covers the preparation, delivery and storage of all equipment required for our event sites including quality control in the warehouse, deliveries to and from the warehouse and the organisation of the storage space. Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Warehouse Manager for in-house duties which may include: Working in the yard / Warehouse. Forklift Operation Assist in the loading/unloading of vehicles. POSITION: Production Manager COMPANY: Underbelly Ltd – La Clique RATE OF PAY: £4,000 DATES: Various dates from beginning of April - end of August LOCATION: Mostly London, with some national travel We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to join the re-creation of the Olivier award-winning La Clique. The work would be on a freelance basis, with some periods of full-time hours during production fit-ups, and some quieter periods when the show is running. We are looking for someone who has: · Previous experience of delivering high-end circus and cabaret-style productions in the role of Production Manager. · A good understanding of all technical and production disciplines including lighting, sound and staging. · The ability to create and maintain a production schedule, budget and accurately monitor expenses. · The ability to work closely with the director, producer and other department heads to make decisions regarding set, rigging, lighting, sound and other aspects of the production. · The ability to build a rapport with production staff, technical staff and contractors. · Experience of health and safety in a theatre setting and the confidence to make appropriate decisions regarding rigging. · Excellent communication skills. · Excellent administrative skills. · Experience of creating drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD or Vectorworks).   13. Fixed Term Contract: Early April – Early August 2022 We are looking for a Technical Production Manager to work at our summer festivals in Cavendish Square and Earls Court, London. The successful applicant will assist the production department in the planning and delivery of all technical elements of the venues. They will work closely with all venue technical staff to ensure the continued high production values audiences have come to expect from Underbelly, and to fulfil the technical requirements of all of our visiting companies. Job Purpose • Crewing and management of venues with technical staff. • Liaising with visiting companies on production schedules, arranging equipment sub-hires, and ensuring their technical needs are met. • Collation and administration of risk assessments and other necessary paperwork for all companies and performances within the venues. • Management of quotes and hire contracts with suppliers within budgets. • Ensure all production activity adheres to risk assessments and good health and safety practices. • Delivery on the design and distribution of venue technical specifications. • Assist with and participate in the build & strike management of the venues & site. • Liaise with Underbelly Producing team regarding Underbelly Productions, including technical requirements and show budgets.
