I bought this unit about 7 years ago. One of a pair. Used occasionally as monitors for my band at the time. Never particularly worked hard or abused.

This one failed after a couple of years - intermittent audio and then if you wiggled the gain pot, it'd come back. Eventually this got worse and sometimes the cabinet would go into low frequency oscillation, sounding like a train horn! Suspected the gain pot initially so replaced it but to no avail. Heated up a couple of joints on the input pcb thinking they might be dry, but I never got to the bottom of it. Sadly after several attempted repairs on a multi-layer board, the input pcb was pretty well dead so I think it ended up in the bin (if I find it though, you're welcome to it). Everything remaining of the cabinet is what you're looking at here!

Drivers and cabinet are A-ok. Cabinet shows very few marks. Most of the screws will come with it too, though one or two have been lost over the last 5 years. The amplifier module is assumed to be ok, but without a working input pcb I can't say for sure. I'm very confident that the fault was the input pcb and not the amplifier module, but I guess there's a small chance that it could have been the amp. Mackie kindly sent me the pinout of the connecting cable between the input pcb and the amp, and I've successfully put tones into the amp and got them out of the speakers, so I'm pretty sure it's ok.

Also comes in a black Mackie shoulder bag which it spent its' whole life in.

Collection from North/West Leeds please. Hoping somebody out there can make use of it for bits.

Looking at spares websites, the 2 drivers are worth about £100, so shall we say offers between £60 and £80?
Advertised elsewhere. Id' rather it went to a needy Blue Roomer, but if it doesn't go then I'll ebay it!
