Job Title: Warehouse Assistant

 

Reporting to: Operations Manager

 

Location: Sterling Event Group, Unit 1B Ringway Trading Estate, Manchester M22 5LH.

 

Salary: £15000 - £19000 depending on experience

Job Type: Permanent full time

As part of our continuing expansion plans we have the opportunity for a warehouse assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with the warehouse team under the leadership of our operations manager.

 

Duties:

 

· Loading/Unloading of vans and trucks

 

· Prepping/De-prepping cables for events

 

· Cleaning and preparing dance floors ready for events

 

· Preparation of equipment for productions and dry hires to the highest standard

 

· Checking in equipment returned from hire

 

· Cleaning drapes and screen surfaces when returned from hire

 

· Stock Control

 

· Complying with the company's paperwork process

 

· Cleaning and tidying of the warehouse

 

· Complying with company health and safety procedures

 

· Occasional work on site rigging / de rigging for events

 

· Occasional deliveries / collections (Full UK driving license an advantage but not essential)

Trainingand Career Progression

 

Training will be provided, as required.Career progression within in the company will be available.

 

WorkingHours

 

Standard working hours would be 08.30 till17.30 Monday to Friday, however overtime opportunities will be available andweekend shifts will be required.

 

Holidays

 

28 days per year
