  1. Here is a picture. The fixture would be in the middle of the horizontal beam/log. It's temporary install for about 2 weeks.
  2. Has anybody any suggestions on how to do that? Logs are about 25-35cm in diameter. I need to hang one moving head (Robe Ledeash 600+) facing down from that log. Safety cable will be around the log.
  3. Hi, Does anybody have any suggestions on small battery powerd RGB fixtures with built in CRMX wireless DMX and IP67 or 68 rating. I have a show coming in summer where we have a small pool on the stage that needs lights in the water. I keep finding only IP65 fixtures that match everything else.
  4. What are your thoughts on mounting a moving head to a tripod? I would mount it on the center of the tripod, on top of the T-bar with 2 static lights(ETC CS spot/par) on the ends of T-bar? Moving head weight: 9.9 kg (21.7 lbs) Robe LedBeam350. Stand: https://www.thomann.de/intl/hercules_stands_hcls700b.htm Hight about 3m (9ft). I think two moving head hanging from T-Bar would be worse? It will be used for theatre, so not a lot of movement and usually with decent fade times.
  5. Just found Extron Elink 100 (https://www.extron.com/product/elink100). Shall keep looking.
  6. Well had a search in the forum but the latest thread is from 2013. We have wireless sound(microphones), we have wireless DMX. Where are we at show reliable and reasonably priced wireless video transfer devices with low latency. We travel around the country with our show and most of the small spaces doesn’t have any cat5/sdi or anything running from the booth to stage. It would be really handy to have one with us. Any suggestions?
  7. They're thermostatic, so don't run constantly. We've got 16 installed in a smallish church, and whilst the fan noise is noticeable, there have been no complaints. I'd suspect that outdoors, with a bit of breeze and some distant background noise, nobody's going to be bothered. Do you have the fan profile set to whisper? I think they will limit the output a little then and fan noise should be lower. According to the manual.
  8. Hi, I'm looking for some power saving alternatives for our outdoor summer show that need a little supporting light in the end. It wouldn't be colored, just white front wash. Are there any LED fixtures that can match PAR64 1kW light output? I have found Vari-Lite VL800 EventPar WW that has IP24 rating and has pretty good light output but are there more fixtures out there that I haven’t thought of? Distance of the lights 10-15meters All the Best, Crash_Override
  9. I have used both the LumenRadio CRMX (https://lumenradio.com/product-category/entertainment-lighting/indoor/) and Wireless Solutions WDMX (http://wirelessdmx.com/products/blackbox-f-1-g5) and haven't had any issues with signal. I don't know about WDMX but Lumen has a outdoor version. Lumen is ok with sACN, haven't tried with WDMX but according to the spec. it will work. Depending on the universes you need.
  10. It's more like a transformer hum. It isn't very loud but you can hear it in complete silence. Fan is always on low speed even when you have it zerod out.
  11. Hi, Has anybody any experience with Look Solutions Unique 2.1 hazer? We just bought one. My question is, should it be humming constantly even when I have it on zero from console? It will start humming as soon as I turn power on and will hum until I set it off and it does it's cooldown. And then it's quiet. If it should be in effects and pyro then please move it to the right category. Thanks
