Job Title: Warehouse TechnicianSalary: £16,500 + Overtime Working DetailsPlace of Work : Enfield, EN3 6JJWeekly Hours: 40 Hours (9:00 – 17:30) Job Description:To be an active part of All Safe and Sound to support the company’s main business of running events by the preparation and maintenance of equipment at our Enfield warehouse. The main responsibilities of the role will involve the preparing, de-prepping, maintenance and tracking of equipment including sets and staging. The primary activities of this role will be warehouse based, but occasional onsite work may be available assisting our engineers and crew in the setting up, removal and operation of equipment onsite. You will be expected to work to, and suggest improvements to our systems and processes where appropriate, including the use of our rental management package; in which training will be provided. The role will require the manual handling of equipment, loading of vans / trucks and customer facing activities. For some customers you may be the first and only face they experience of All Safe and Sound, as such it is important you must reflect our high standards and work ethos with a smart, presentable and polite personality. The ability to drive is an important aspect of what we do, and having a full, clean UK driving license is an essential part of the job requirements as is the ability and confidence to drive long wheel based vans around central London and the UK. Notable duties include: • Management and tracking of items through our rental management package• Service testing and inspection of equipment, including PAT testing• Undertaking basic repairs where possible• The manufacture of cabling for stock, including soldering• Accurate preparation of items for hire and project work• Checking in and testing of items once return from dry hires and events• Delivery and collection of items to clients and venues if necessary.• Helping customers with technical issues over the phone where possible• Basic maintenance of event sets• Regular visual checks of vehicles in our fleet for roadworthiness• Ensuring the warehouse and work spaces are kept tidy, organised and safe The role will also involve undertaking other tasks as required by the company in the undertaking of its business duties.
