Job Title: Performing Arts Technical Officer

Salary: £25,728 - £30, 688 pa

Job Family: Technical

Work Base: Cambridge

Hours of Work: Full time (varied working patterns, including occasional weekends and evenings. Arranged in advance, usually over five days of the week) Fixed term, 6 month position.

Responsible to: Technical Manager

Responsible for: No direct line management responsibility

Relationships and Contacts: Head of Department, Academic Staff, Students

 

About the role:

 

The Faculty of Arts, Law and Social Sciences is seeking a Performing Arts Technical Officer to join our Faculty Technical Team. This post will provide specialist technical support to a number of courses within the Faculty.

You'll predominantly provide technical support for the Performing Arts courses, facilities, students and teaching staff. You'll be responsible for the maintenance and operation of all theatrical equipment within the subject area including advising on new developments in equipment and techniques.

With a degree or part qualified in relevant professional qualification, you'll have experience of providing technical support to Performing Arts activities within either a theatre or higher education environment.
