Please forgive the heaviness but; DO NOT USE TAMAZEPAM OR ASK YOUR DOCTOR FOR THEM!

Benzo-diazepines such as Tammy, or jellies as we experienced folk in addiction work used to know them, are hypnotic psychoactive addictive drugs, not to be used when working with machinery or driving and may have unexpected side-effects for some people. Tolerance is an issue as is withdrawal and it can raise dependence in some in only 7 days. Oh dear!

If you cannot sleep on tour, then do not go on tour. The primary considerations are as everyone has repeated your own personal Health, Safety and Welfare. So socks is good but rest, hydration and food are the first things to ensure. Unless those are satisfied then a starving, sleep-deprived, dehydrated person can have an endless supply of cashmere socks and daily reflexology by naked Thai maidens without it making a blind bit of difference.

Kerry, have you been looking back through my old riders??? It really does make a difference. Honest!

More seriously, as a caring and modern PM, I'd rather hope that Maslow's most important would be taken care of by Production - although it's not a given, certainly not on some tours I worked on in the past.

I've yet to convince them that the maidens are anything other than Self Actualisation (Whaaaattt? oh no, stoppit. Please yourselves.. its bitter out etc.) which apparently can't be charged to the production budget! Chiz.
