Networking and Audio

I'm sure many folks get this straight to Facebook/Twitter/Other social media but for those who don't - here's a useful interview and video for sound people. We use Dante extensively but it can be a bit of a mystery to new and visiting staff (which this should help) - hopefully it is of use to others too :)

A very interesting read.

After working pretty much exclusively on analogue in live events throughout my degree, and the year or so after I graduated, I've now found myself working more on digital installation projects. I understand "plug A into B and it will work", but I'm still not entirely sure exactly how it all comes together. It's a constant learning curve, and something I really want to master, as I truly believe it is the future of audio. Plus, I'd rather patch a cat6 in at FoH and Stage than have to run a 48 way multi across a room any day.
