Easyjob

Hi,

 

Does anyone on here use Easyjob?

 

Im trialing it to see if it suits our needs.

We are a production and hire company.

Currently I understand setting up items, projects and jobs, and then creating an invoice for a confirmed job.

 

However, I can't figure out how to setup a project and create a quote for it? I need to be able to generate quotes to send to my clients.

 

I'm also getting a bit stuck on changing the layout of the invoices i.e. adding a logo etc..

We’ve used easyjob since 2008 and fully intend to stay with it. It’s mature, stable and offers all the things you need to run a business like yours.

 

If you’ve created a project with items in a job, then accepted the total via the cost planner for the job, a quote should be as easy as going to the reports tab, selecting project and then ‘project proposal’ and printing that. All the information for the quote is contained in the project and job tabs and the bill of items, you just have to pull it into the report when you want it - there isn’t a separate process for creating quotes in terms of adding kit etc.

 

To edit reports you have to go into the reports settings and then select the report you wish to edit, making changes then saving it. I strongly suggest that you use the template for things like logo and address details that will sit across all reports, as it makes changing things like that a lot easier.

 

Depending on where you’re based I might be able to help with some initial setup.
