  1. Hi All, a bit late to the party here, but I have just done this, after a few weeks of thinking I was f*cking it up. so here are the critical steps, as I couldn't find a definitive guide. 1. use a small USB stick. (I used a 1gb Freebie from a conference) 2. Download Both files from the Strand Website for your desk (12/24, 24/48) here http://www.strandlighting.com/index.php?xsearch%5B0%5D=Controls&xsearch%5B1%5D=200+Plus+Series+Console&xsearch%5B2%5D=Fixture+Library&submit=Search&xsearch_id=Downloads_Search&src=directory&srctype=downloads_lister&view=downloads&submenu= Copy both of these onto the USB. there will be some duplicates, but just ignore those. 3. Download the software versions here http://www.strandlighting.com/index.php?xsearch%5B0%5D=Controls&xsearch%5B1%5D=200+Plus+Series+Console&xsearch%5B2%5D=Software&submit=Search&xsearch_id=Downloads_Search&src=directory&srctype=downloads_lister&view=downloads&submenu= Keep this in a flie on your desktop. 4. open the STR20048 file on your USB, and add the relevant .bin file to the directory. 5. POWER OFF THE DESK. Insert the USB. Power on the desk. 6. using the menu, install the SW. When it is finished, check the install. (menu/next x 4/ Rev1.xx). Enjoy the sense of relief when it happens. 7. do the next update. DO THEM SEQUENTIALLY. DO NOT BE TEMPTED TO SKIP ONE... 7A. Crucially, 1.26 did not register as being installed. I took a flyer and did 1.27, because I'm reckless. Walk tall for the rest of the day, and when the folk in the office ask why you look so happy, just smile knowingly, and say "oh Nothing, just some technician stuff..." Ste PS, it had nothing to do with ARTNet
