London Based Permanent Technician Role

Crucial FX are launching a cutting-edge Immersive Experience in central London, and we are looking for a talented technician to run this exciting experience based in Borough.

 

 

Your role will be to setup, operate and maintain our multimedia showcase, which features the latest technology and our own innovations. This includes interactivity, projection mapping, lighting, multiple special effects and audio.

This is a great opportunity for a technician to join our rapidly growing company as part of our London expansion. A passion for events and technology is essential, but training will be provided for the many different systems in use.

 

The role is a full time role, with some flexibility in working hours required when the space is in use during event events.

 

Key responsibilities will include:

 

- Setup testing and maintenance

- Operation of live shows

- Meeting clients and demonstrating the experience

- Working on other live events and projects off site

 

Required Skills:

 

- Passion for live events and creative technology

- Ability to learn quickly in a complex technical environment

- Experience working in a technology led environment

- Good communication and people skills

- Attention to detail

- Strong self motivation and can do attitude

- Experience working with projection / theatre tech / event technician is preferable

 

Starting salary is between £18,000 - £23,000 depending on skills and experience. Position is for immediate start.
