Tregilibob
I'm looking for a lightweight 1930's style movie camera for 'Singin' in the Rain Jr' - I've seen the National one, but London is a bit far from Nottingham!!Does anyone know of any for hire/borrow in the Midlands area - due to our stage/blocking it needs to be fairly light to allow it to be lifted down 25cm and back up again to get to the wings (thrust stage is lower than apron). There is budget available to pay for this, or to pay for someone to create one if that is an option - my skills don't extend that far. andrewg112
We have a very lightweight prop made for our production of Singin' ITR. We are in Lowestoft, where is your set coming from ? Facebook: The B&B Young People's Theatre Group, I believe they have uploaded our pictures now.
Tregilibob
Hi Andrew, Lowestoft is a fair distance away, and set is being constructed on site.If you have any photos (couldn't find any on the book of face) that would be good.I'll speak to the director to see where it sits on the wants vs needs scale.
