Hi just looking for a bit of clarity on the ITC equity contact

How many company bases are you allowed to set... the company is trying to set 3 as its a co production with Northern Ireland, England and Norway. According to the contract all three venues can be treated as Company Base for the purpose of allowances. I.e: relocation or commuting costs should be paid but touring expenses do not apply.

Does any one have any experience on this... I've started the job so there is little I can do about it now anyway just curious :)

I know this might be a really obvious question, but... why haven't you asked Equity? Surely they'd be the best to advise? :)

Colin, it means you can have a day off at the start and a day off at the end.

The law is that in every 7 day week, at least 1 must be a rest day. It doesn't necessarily have to come at the same point each week.

So you could have:

Monday: Work
Tuesday: Work
Wednesday: Work
Thursday: Work
Friday: Work
Saturday: Work
Sunday: Rest

Monday: Work
Tuesday: Work
Wednesday: Work
Thursday: Work
Friday: Work
Saturday: Work
Sunday: Rest

OR you could have:

Monday: Rest
Tuesday: Work
Wednesday: Work
Thursday: Work
Friday: Work
Saturday: Work
Sunday: Work

Monday: Work
Tuesday: Work
Wednesday: Work
Thursday: Work
Friday: Work
Saturday: Work
Sunday: Rest

Or anything in between.
Please comment on what I've written; not what you've interpreted that I've implied.
