StuartS
Does anyone have experience driving Chromateq's Pro DMX PC/Mac and dongle package (KAM)? It seems very visual, and LDs are visual people, but users are awaiting a proper manual. The video tutorials on the Chromateq website are no real substitute for a 'random access' text document. At present it is great for 'eye candy' but I gather the next version might be theatre friendly.
alopex
Just seen this post. The Pro DMX software page on Chromateq site has some video tutorials and some links to downloadable PDF user manuals at the bottom of the page.http://www.chromateq.com/64-chromateq-pro-DMX.htm I've just got the same KAM package and am in the process of getting it running. turbojohn
I am currently trying to resolve a hardware/software issue with the Kam version. It is ongoing with computer and dongle replaced. Currently it randomly says "no device detected" . It is very intuitive to program and operate but I would currently be worried about reliability.
