  1. Most of the cheap controllers will only fade the dimmerchannel. Not the colourchannels. Be aware.
  2. Problem is: you can set a lower volume on a big system, but you can't set a high volume on a small system. You need a much bigger system outside than inside. The jmix just isn't going to work. Period. You might get away with double rcf evox12 or db technologies 1002/1203, if you wnat to stay with those kind of systems.I would give the db tech ingenia ig4t with enough sub a good look, or maybe good old jbl srx, or yamaha dsr or dzr. I think the one with the 9k quote was nearest, although I have my questions about an array system for 9k.You also need to think about all other things required, like cabling, covers/flightcases, mixer etc. It adds up very quickly.
  3. Personally I don't like the sound of the 905. A bit hollow sounding. Not very good extended lows. Haven't heard the yamaha, but since the tops are rcf, I would stick with rcf. I do know the 8004, as I have several of them. Killer sub. Used them several 100's of times now.I have heard the 8003-2, and it is also very good for the prise. I only heard then twice, but can recommend them as a budget choice. Both will produce dry, defined lowend. The 8003 has a stereo input, the 8004 hasn't, so 1 8004 would be a hassle to integrate in your system. I also owned the rcf hd32 mk4, which is almost the same as the 732. The Hd32 will outrun a 8004, if that is of any concern to you. They coupled beautifully. 1 or 2? If I were you, I would start with one 8003, and get a second one when budget allows. If you can swing the extra money, get 2 8004. They are worth it. Maybe second hand is an option? Also try to find a dealer and talk to them. You might be suprised what they can do with pricing. Get the covers!
  4. RCF do publish polarplots and freq curves in their datasheets, and also give you GLL files which you can use with EASE Focus and GLL Viewer. But These two speakers are new products, and it seems they haven't posted those yet. They might be available if you contact RCF. Btw I would buy the 10". For little more you get almost twice the speaker, In my modest opinion the subs and tops should be no more than 2 sizes apart. 18" sub with 15 or 12" top, 15" sub with 12 or 10" top and 12" sub with 10 or 8" top. In the future I would sell the 905's and replace them with the tts15, which is suprisingly affordable. Would make for a very nice, professional set.
