Stuart91
Got another interesting projection challenge. We have a customer keen to get screens installed into a victorian church building. It's not a very big room but the only space where they are permitted to hang screens is only 140cm wide. The screens have to be retractible, and rear projection is looking like the only option. All of our regular screen suppliers have said that they can't build custom screens that small. I will happily trawl round a pile more manufacturers, but I was wondering if anyone knew of people who actually can build screens that small? That 140cm is the total width, we need to accommodate the casing etc. within that space as well. (So the manufacturer who offered to build me a 140cm wide screen with a 2m wide casing wasn't quite what I was looking for). We can't use flatscreens or a frame screen, the powers that be won't permit it. There's not endless budget for these, but the customer is aware that they are going to be paying more than they would for a larger screen in a standard size. top-cat
http://www.ect-av.com/ These guys in Reading don't explicitly list them, but I have had them make all sorts of screens in different sizes and I would say if you ring them and explain the situation, even if they can't supply they will tell you who can.
