  1. Is it neccessary that each artist is live? It would be far easier for them to sendyou videos ahead of the show.
  2. If it's really for d0m3stic lighting, the internet connected led normal light bulbs are probably easier/cheaper. You can set a colour on your phone or choose chases etc.
  3. Sparq in Coventry (formerly Saville AV)
  4. Something with Sharepoint?
  5. Never tried it, but Qstit seems to come up often in googles. http://subtitles.nova-cinema.org/download_v3.en.php
  6. I'm sure if you google hard enough https://www.google.com/search?q=20+pounds+note
  7. Isn't the standard way to do this to run your supplements on one universe, and then the existing lighting on another?
  8. Depending on the laser and software being used, solidworks DXF files are often a bit ropey when imported. Depending on the level of drawing you need versus design, InkScape (free) can create half decent files. Not CAD, but generally enough functionality.
  9. I would assume contact details would be on your license.
  10. Issue them with cards and buy a barcode scanner. Scan em in, scan em out.
  11. Admission: I work for a company that makes and supplies lasers. The lasers used in schools are CO2 sources. Good for cutting organic material and plastic. They will not cut metal. It is possible to cut metal on a Fibre laser but these are twice the price. Also it is not a cost effective thing to do as it takes many many passes. Maybe you could cut something to use with acid etching?
  12. Most reputable I know would be Mandala Studios, West Midlands.
  13. Well, I believe you could get a foot switch which allowed some control over what was happening, or possibly had it's own DMX programs in it. I only ever used up to 4 slaved. 2 would do one thing and 2 would do something different but synced with the first two. So I guess the inbuilt programs have two 'sides' or something. Since it's just a moonflower, and DMXable, you could easily recreate the programs.
  14. I always liked the EVL Spins. I'm sure you can still get them. They (I think) have some DMX control but the powerful thing about them was syncing them up and using the in built programs.
  15. http://www.talbotdesigns.co.uk/acrylic-domes/ Any use?
